almost 23 months!

NORAH - AT 23 MONTHS you....

Are learning a new word or phrase seemingly every day. Some of our new favorites are:

Come on. (Such as come on daddy, come one, as you are pulling him where you want him)

okay, okay, okay. (3 in a row is the best, and pretty common, you use this instead of yes.)

Pawk. (Park) Birday Pawty (Birthday party) simming poo (and swimming pool)

Are a pretty good eater....if you are in the mood. You're favorite foods right now are: Macaroni and Cheese, especially with peas in it, yep, good ol' frozen or fresh peas. Grapes (or apes as you like to say), toast, egg yolks, pickles, cucumbers....hmmm wonder where you got that from :), and you love yogurt.

Are sleeping so well. You are growing like a weed, so maybe that's why, but you've been taking 2-3 hour naps everyday and sleeping for about 11 hours at night (usually with no wake ups, occasionally you need me to come in and give you a binky or cover you up) but you've been an allstar sleeper lately!

You're favorite things right now are:

Steps....you love em, sitting on them, going up, going down, seeing them in books, everything about them. :)

Parks (as you call anything with a swing or slide) and being outside playing in general.

Bubble Baths. Not kidding, you ask for one every night. Not just a bath, a bubble bath.

Playing Kitchen. You love to cook and stir and mainly taste the food (again, wonder where you got that ;)

Playing House. You have a little play house and a bunch of little people and they are your favorite, you bring them all over. It's been so fun watching you start to pretend with them. You will have one of them answer the door and say hello and then give them a hug. You will also ask one if they are okay if the fall. So sweet.

~Your birthday - can't believe you are almost 2!

~Being a big sister! - Haven't talked about the pregnancy at all on here, so some of you may not know, but we are expecting baby #2 in October! I've been so sick and tired, and busy taking care of Norah, that I haven't been blogging much, so I just haven't mentioned it. I kept planning on doing a big post making a big deal about it, and then it kept getting pushed back and back, so there you go, there's the big blog announcement. I'm 20 weeks tomorrow!

~Potty Training - We are thinking that we are going to start after your bday....like seriously the day after. I'm hoping to have it going pretty well by the time the baby comes. We'll see. ;)

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for each and every day we've had with Norah, and for every little joy that she brings us. Thank You for the blessing of another child, we are so excited to have our family grow! We love you. Amen.
