CURRENTLY.

Norah Grace is...

...obsessing over: talking. it's just adorable, she talks constantly, hmm wonder where she got that. she loves to take my books and pretend like they are hers and she reads them as she makes up stories, or retells ones she's heard.
...loving: her music class. She has started going to a Kindermusik class once a week, and she absolutely loves it. She loves the teacher Miss Susan (whom it turns out I've known forever, and she knows my parents) and she loves playing with other kiddos, playing musical instruments, and singing along. It's been fun to see her follow instruction from someone other than myself, it turns out she doesn't have a hearing problem....unless it's my voice. amazing how that works.
...working on: potty training. yes still. are we close you say? nope. not at all. She can go in the potty if she wants, but usually doesn't want to, and it's sometimes, it's not worth the fight. I just don't really know what to do, and to be honest I've had so much going on, that we have just allowed it to be on the back burner. Now that it's warming up, I have a feeling I'm going to put a naked girl out back until she learns to always go in the potty.
...thinking about: friends. She talks about the friends she has. It's so cute. Except she can't say "F" sounds, so they are all her "pends".
...anticipating: her friend Alaina's princess birthday, her own birthday, and teaching Evy everything you can imagine.
...listening to: Just Dance Kids. This is a dance game for the Wii that she got for Christmas and I am obsessed she loves it a lot ;)
...drinking: water with a bit of apple juice in it. Anyone my age knows this is how you do it. Anyone over 50 thinks I abuse her by not letting her have juice.
...wishing: it was summer already - either that or that there was snow all the time. She is very upset that her frosty we built is gone, but the promise of running through the sprinklers as soon as it's warm enough keeps her going. :)

Evy is...

...obsessing over: her toes!  She loves them. Thinks it's so fun to grab them, sometimes even laughs when she does. Loves to look at them, put them in her mouth, play with them, etc. 

...working on: sleep. We are on day 3 of "sleep training".  It's going pretty well. I'll post an update about this soon.

...thinking about: sitting up by herself.  She is getting there...she is probably closer to this than really rolling over. She hates being on her tummy. HATES it. Doesn't last longer than 5 seconds without throwing a huge fit. We try other things to get some tummy time, with her laying on us, or her up high and us down below (like on the edge of the bed) so she is entertained....but no luck yet. 

...anticipating: trying food! In the next week or so we are going to introduce solids...trying to decide what to go for first: sweet potatoes, avocado, squash.... 

...listening to: her big sis Norah talk to her. She will watch Norah so intently as if she can actually understand what she's saying.

...drinking: milk...straight from mama. Occasionally from a bottle, but not real big on that yet. In the next week 

...wishing: I'm wishing for complete health and happiness for her. Poor girl just hasn't had a two week stretch in her life without some type of struggle.  We are going regularly to the chiropractor for her now in hopes to make her happier, less fussiness, and to get off this reflux medicine.

Ryan is...(according to me because I forgot to ask him)

...obsessing over: kenneth faried. A new player this year for the Nuggets. Ryan loves his nickname the manimal, and uses this nickname at least 10 times/game. seriously.

...working on: getting prepared for DJ Season.

...praying for: Our good friends and the health issues they are facing with their kiddos. 

...anticipating: the Grand Junction Rockies debut!

...listening to: ? someone cool I'm sure...much cooler than

...drinking: 5 Hour Energy. His new thing. 

...wishing: we were on a vacation, one that is...away from the kiddos...away from work...away from duties around home...hopefully not away from me!

I am...

...obsessing over: Sleep. 

...working on: taxes, :(

...thinking about: Our new business!  970 Photo Booth Company.  My friend Lisa and I (along with our hubbies) have started this new company. We are up and running and have a couple of events booked. So excited!  We are going to have a kick off partay in a few weeks!  Been so fun to work on all of the things for this business!  Great to use my brain for something other than diapers changes and grocery lists.

...praying for: our friends and their kiddos health issues. little evy girl and her struggles. norah grace.  patience for myself. and for my knees and joints in general.  and much more.  

...anticipating: my 30th birthday...hoping to do something fun!!

...listening to: the baby monitor. :) because luckily they are both sleeping :)

...drinking: seltzer water with a splash of cranberry juice.

...wishing for: a full nights sleep, a vacation, and for spring to be here!
