aargggh Matey!

Our sweet little Norah turned 3 last week, and if you've spoken to her anytime in the last couple of months she likely told you she was going to have a Mermaid and Pirate Party. She picked the theme all on her own, and insisted the boys were pirates and girls were mermaids;)

So, we spent the couple of days before her party making cute little buckets and things. Norah helped so much, it was so fun to have her so involved!

Here is our little mermaid with the buckets for all of her friends.
A cute little poser.

An up close shot of the buckets. The boys buckets had swords, pirate hats, eye patches, telescopes, tattoos and a treasure map.
The girls buckets had mermaid skirts, crowns, bracelets, rings, a telescope and a treasure map.
Mermaid Evy enjoying some time with GG....who also seems to be enjoying herself!

I drew a treasure map to put in each kid's bucket, and Pirate Daddy buried it earlier in the day. We planned on doing the treasure hunt a bit later, but when the boys realized there were maps in their buckets with a shovel. There was no stopping them! So fun!
 The little mermaids!
All 5 little mermaids...no this is not a great picture, but believe it or not, it's the best one out of 10....getting 5 little mermaids to stop playing and start posing wasn't easy...
Norah and Alaina...can't wait for Norah to stop her silly fake smiling. :/
But oh my goodness they are precious.
Completely random, but found 4 men and their little ladies on their laps...so special...and great dads!
 my favorite dad.
 Matt and cutie Jericha.
Jayla and Amara with their pirate Daddy.
This was such a funny moment, after cupcakes, norah was a bit messy, so Alaina decided to clean her off!

We had such a fun time, and Norah is still talking about it!  Love that little mermaid!
