Only 33 days to go....holy moly!! We are getting so excited, it's becoming more real every day that we are actually going to have a baby. Our daughter. Our little girl, yippee! We had an appointment with our midwife recently, and everything looks good. We soon start seeing her every week!
I did have a minor freakout in my head last night after going to Child birth class. A few of the other couples asked questions, like about a pediatrician appointment, (when I haven't even called one yet, yikes) and about hand sanitizer (one couple has already purchased hand sanitizer and put them all around the house so guests don't touch the baby without clean hands). Little things that make these people seem so prepared, and make us seem so....not prepared.
Overall though, we really are getting ready. I'm feeling fairly good still, my back and ribs are in pain constantly, but I'm getting used to that! And, I'm starting to get tired again. I've had so much energy over the past 2 months, but now, the tiredness is coming back, not quite the exhaustion of the 1st trimester, but I'm definitely slowing down. I think being tired and needing to lay down so I don't scream from back/rib pain, are God's ways of forcing me to slow down and relax a little to build up some rest before she gets here. If our daughters habits outside the womb mimic her habits inside the womb, she is going to be one active wild child!

So happy to hear that you guys are so close to meeting your little girl! Don't worry about not being "prepared!" You've been growing as a Child of God and that's the best prep you can get before having a baby. Hand sanitizer is all fine and good, but where will those folks go when they need to be filled from the inside out? Hopefully to the Lord! I know you guys will be going to Him! Besides, you can never really be ready for these little maniacs, it just has to come as you go along! We're expecting no. 3 and we still feel unprepared for things on a daily basis. Good thing we can go to His Holy feet for guidance. ;)
Enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy and take some special time for each other while you have the option to do so. Enjoy movie nights and dinner dates. It won't go away completely when you have a baby, but you will probably miss those times of spontaneous dates with your hubby. I know I do, anyway! And you look radiant as a preggo mama - that's so wonderful!!
I cannot wait to meet this little girl!! I'm unbelievably excited for you guys!
