Baby Shower #2, updated.

Update: New pics of me and Megan at the baby shower, and the most adorable little knitted mary janes and hat that Meg handmade for me!!

Woo Hoo! It was so fun, and so cute, and the food was so good, and my friends and family were there and were wonderful! I couldn't have asked for more, so thanks to everyone!!

My mother is nothing less than a cool version of Martha Stewart (that hasn't been to jail and doesn't cook) She is fabulous. She had fun planning the shower with my Aunts, and she is so darn good at it. The place looked super cute. There were pink, green, and brown things everywhere (the colors of our nursery, pics coming soon on this too!) And, the flowers (she does have an advantage because she is a florist for a living) were AMAZING. The arrangements were tulips, hydrangeas, and roses, all in little modern square vases with limes in them, how cute!!! The deck, complete with pink and green paper lanterns all over, was equally perfect! Even the plates, linens, baskets the cutlery was in, matched and was a fun green and pink! And the gift table, wasn't a table, but a cradle! (which our little girl will someday sleep in at Grandma and Grandpa's!)

The food was also super yummy! Thanks Aunt Lynn and Aunt Barb! From stuffed mushrooms, to spinach dip it was great!

And, thanks to Megan, the Vanna white of our day, ran the games. She played a "price is right" like game where we all learned we had no idea how much baby things cost. (Except for Morgan and Fawn who won the game) and we played a game similar to my other shower where you tore off a piece of streamer guessing how long you would need to fit around the largest part of my growing belly. The other pregnant chick, Stacey, at the shower took the gold in this game, although with a growing belly of her own I think she had an advantage! Thanks Megan for your hard work, and the great diaper cake that became one of our centerpieces, so cute!!!

It was wonderful to spend time with all of these women that mean so much to me. I feel like I didn't get enough time to chat with any of you, (we all know how much I love to chat). And I certainly didn't get enough cute pics of any of us together, :( I hate when that happens after the fact when you realize you took no good pictures because you were so wrapped up in the day.

So thanks again to everyone, it was perfect!
