So a couple of weeks ago, we traveled to Denver for our "Denver People Baby Shower", given by Kendra Johnson, a good friend of my mother-in-law Carleen. My mom and aunts are planning another baby shower in GJ for people on this side of the mountain soon. But I'm so glad we get to do both so I get to see everyone! It was so fun!
It was wonderful just to be with all of these great women, share some great food, lots of laughs, and some advice, including baby name ideas!
We had a great brunch to get things kicked off. Then we played a few games. One of them included pulling off a strip of toilet paper the size that each guest thought would fit around my tummy. My little 6 year old cousin proved to be the most accurate when she matched me exactly! Some other guests, aka Betsi, were more interested in sucking up to me, and only pulled off 4 squares, and I love her, (not just for that, but that definitely gave her points in my book!) We have some great pics of this to be posted soon!

The next game was a questionnaire about me that we all filled out and counted to see who matched my answers most. Janae took the cake on this one, matching a ton of my answers! We are each other's only sisters, so it makes sense she would know the most!

Finally, Grandma Clark suggested everyone give me name suggestions, which I was grateful for. It is such a hard decision choosing what this little girl is going to be called her whole life!! There were a ton of good suggestions, some of my favorites that were new suggestons were: Amelia, Grace, Marissa, and Ayla.

After games, we opened presents, tons of them. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family helping us out. I've never heard so many oohs and ahs. What can I say, little girl clothes are just too cute. Even little onesies are just precious. We also got some practical things, a new stroller and car seat, a bath tub, bibs, blankets, pacifiers, diapers, etc. I think it's all getting more and more real now that I have tangible baby things! I'm actually going to have a little girl to wrap in these blankets!!

So a special thanks to all of you who made it and made this day so special, it was such a blessing. Thanks!!!
