My next appointment with JG the midwife, is Monday, I will be 25 weeks that day! I'm not sure what we will do at this appointment, but I'm pretty sure there will be no pics taken of the little girl, but we will get to hear her little heart beating!
On the clothing front: my old pants are impossible to fit in now. I can wear one pair that used to nearly fall off me, but they are uncomfortable. My other jeans I've tried wearing with a rubberband, but I can't really do that anymore because I just feel like they are falling off my rear end, and we definitely don't need that. I've got a couple of pairs of maternity pants now, 1 of them from Ross for 7.99! I've been lucky enough to still wear shirts that I already had. I'm ready for the warm weather and big flowy dresses for sure though!
So, my newest project is of course the nursery. And, I'm becoming a non decision maker. I can't decide on a color scheme for this little girl, so please tell me how the heck we are going to decide on a name someday! I'm teetering between mainly pink and chocolate (chocolate sounds better than brown!) , pink and green, or pink and grey. Yes, they all include pink, so it appears I have my mind made up about that. But no, you should see the different shades of pinks, there are hundreds, and I've contemplated them all except for dusty rose mauvy pink, and pepto bismol pink. We've also been so blessed by a good friend of ours that is done having babies that gave us a crib, changing table, cradle, and bassinet (that I will be doing some "alterations" to.) So, I will soon start showing you pics and ideas of the room! I may have finished Massage Therapy school just to design a massage room,ha ha, but no I did not get pregnant just so I could design a nursery. Although, it is something I'm so excited about doing, and between my mom and I's ideas, and Meg's and I's ideas, my brain is on constant pink decorating nursery overload, and I love every stinkin' minute of it!
Also, some good news. A girlfriend of mine that I mentioned sometime back that was trying to get pregnant and had had 2 previous miscarriages, is pregnant and just passed the 13 wk mark! Woo Hoo!! And, another good friend of mine from High School and still,Jaime, just had a beautiful baby girl on St. Patricks Day!
However, another good friend of mine, found out a couple of weeks ago that she did miscarry, so please keep her in your prayers. She is an amazing woman, and already a fabulous mother of 2, she is just one of those people that is great to hear from and is always such an inspiration, and has a heart of God and gold.
So, one verse down in my scripture memorization ventures, and here is my next one:
Hebrews 8:12-13 ESV
For I will be merciful towards their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more. In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the old one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
NLT
12 And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. 13 When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.
