Norah - isms.

Our dear daughter has developed quite the personality over this past year. There are so many things that she does that make me smile and love her...and a few of them just make me laugh my head off. I thought I would share with you a few of these "norah-isms" that she has been doing lately.

• While eating, she will grab a bite, and then hold it out as if she is going to share it with Ryan or I, and just as it's almost to our mouth, she stuffs it into her mouth and smiles.
  
• When she first wakes in the morning or from a nap, she's so stinkin' cute. Lately she has been hugging and kissing Lucy her little lovey bear.

• Another thing she does when she first wakes up is starts pointing to everything in her room, her name on the wall, her flower art, her closet, her books, and once you tell her what she's pointing at, she seems content and moves on to the next object.
  
• Kisses. These are few and far between that you are lucky enough to get a kiss from little Norah, but every once in a while she will do it. She especially loves kissing her daddy lately. She gives wide open mouth slobbery kisses, but they are fabulous.
  
• Winking. She is a fast learner because Grammy taught her this in a few minutes at the wedding last weekend. You can say wink, or wink at her, and she does the cutest wink back (well technically it's blinking because it's with both eyes.) But she closes her eyes really tight and smiles usually during these "winks".
  

• Dancing. She loves dancing, it's basically just a tiny little rhythmical knee bend with some arm waving, and if you are really lucky, she will throw in some head bobbing. But it will make you smile for days. She is such a good little listener too, because anytime music comes on, even if just background music in a commercial when she's off playing with her toys, she'll start dancing. She also loves to dance to my phone ringer.

• The other day Norah was playing in her room by herself, I walked by and she was looking at her book with animals and on the lion page she started growling. ha ha.

• When she sees a dog now she does the cutest little "ruff ruff" noise. You have to see it to understand how cute it is though, because for some reason she puffs up her cheeks with air when she makes the noise.....hard to explain, just try it yourself (unless your reading this in a coffee shop, that would be awkward.)

(apparently Norah decided it was just too stinkin' hot, so she would take a break in the fridge...um yes, she does have two different shoes on)

These are just a few of my favorite things she is doing these days. It's been such a fun summer so far! We are going to Jackson next week for good friend's wedding, 9 hour drive. We'll see how cute she is for that long in a car! Wish us luck.
