Our little Norah is doing so well.....except for one thing, she is growing up way too fast....not according to the doctor, just according to us.
It's incredible to see our little baby become a little girl.
A few things she has adorable mastered:
- Animal noises - her favorites are dog, monkey (which mainly is sticking her hands in her armpits and flapping them, not much noise), lion, and her newest one is the cutest little cat noise ever. (no I haven't changed my mind that this means she can get a cat. :))
(By the way, none of the pics in this post have anything to do with what it written, I tried to find pics of her doing these things, and I couldn't, apparently I'm usually laughing to hard at her to take any, I will try to get some in the near future to show all of you!)
This is at Janae's wedding this summer.

- Running. I never knew such a simple thing could be so stinkin' cute. The best part is how her little left arm swings way faster than her right arm, and her left one is usually straight while her right one is bent. At this age, I think this just means she's got individual style....if she keeps it up into middle school, I have a feeling I won't think that.;)
On the Grand Mesa for a fun family day!

- Jumping. Okay, maybe not mastered yet, but this morning she did actually get off the ground. As Ryan puts it, she has a "vert" of 1. The best part of her jump is that she swings her arms up in the air and goes on her tip toes, and really really tries to get in the air.
um, I'm not sure what the heck she is doing here, just thought it was funny.
- A few random cute things, that are only special to me and to you hopefully, are: winking, rocking her baby, kissing her baby and her animals, hugging us, kissing us, waving bye bye, blowing kisses
- Bodyparts: She will adorably point to her belly button, her nose, her ears, her lips, her hair, and on and on, and the newest one that "papa" taught her - her freckle (she has one big one on her arm.)
Bailey had just barked, and Norah was about to scold her.
another thing she has mastered: our stairs!!!
- Feeding herself: Okay, well again, maybe not mastered, but she is getting much less messy at using a spoon by herself, yogurt is her favorite food to try. And she is a pro at poking macaroni and cheese with a fork.
- Understanding us. She really does understand nearly everything Ryan and I say. It's amazing. It's so neat to watch how she has begun to comprehend our language and knows how to interact and respond to everything.
She is so fun!
- Talking. I'm becoming so impatient, but I have a feeling I'm going to look back at this time and wonder why I was. I was never the quiet one as a child (big shocker to all of you I'm sure) To be honest, in Elementary school I got an "E "(excellent) in most areas, however, I always got an "I" (needs improvement) in talking too much. Can't wait to talk to this little girl though, she is going to have so many great things to tell me I'm sure. :)
- Napping. We are fluctuating between 1 and 2 naps/day and occasionally, none. Yikes. I think she is transitioning to 1, and just having some difficulty adjusting. We will get there! I think when it comes to sleep, I'm just a bit paranoid after the struggles we had the first 8 months of her life. :)
Sweet, adorable, amazement about leaves.
