The move.

The move.

This past month has been crazy! In late August, we received an offer on our house that we had put up for sale 10 days prior. We counter offered back with a higher price, and then they made another counter offer to settle in the middle, and we accepted! We were excited, and surprised, and a bit nervous, because we hadn't even looked at houses for us to move into yet. The closing date was set for Sept 28, so we had a week or so to find a house and set a closing date, or we would be living with my parents. We spent the first few days out looking, and got a bit frustrated, it seemed like everything we liked was on the tip top of our price range, or it needed so much work that even though it was still lower, eventually would cost a ton. We finally came across a house on the Redlands, that we saw huge potential in. The more we looked at it, the more we loved it! And by the next morning, we made an offer! They counter offered back, and we accepted it! So the closing date was set for Sept 28, the same day that our sale was set for! With a few minor issues along the way, like a ceiling in the spare room caving in.........um another story, another day.....we made it. We closed on both houses, had great family and friends help us move out of one house, and into another in a fast and furious 41 hours.

We feel so blessed to be in our new home. So blessed to have sold our old home in this market. So blessed to be in a house we can really see staying in for a long time. We have soo many projects on the horizon, which I am so excited about I can hardly sleep.....seriously I have issues.

We will post many more pictures soon, and updates on the projects, but here are a few to get you started!
Our new backyard...one of the major selling features.
Another view of our new yard, complete with Norah's play gym that Aunt Barbie bought her, and if you look closely in the center of the trees, yep, that is a deer!!!

This is a close up of that deer picture...there was a whole family of them out there a couple of mornings ago!

Norah loves the new yard!
Heavenly Father....Thank You. Thank you for your provision, for your blessings on our family. Thank You for reminding us that it's all yours and it all came from you. Help us to not get wrapped up in this world and forget that. We love you and praise you.
