Norah's Birthday!!

Our little girl turned 2 last weekend! Ryan's parents came in from Denver, my family was here and we had a close group of friends that came over for the celebration!

Norah awaiting the festivities to begin.
Playing with Daddy and the birthday present (the playground) as Norah calls it, the "Park". She has been asking for a "park" for months, and after our families chipped in to help us pay for it and my dad and Ryan built it, she had it to play on for the big day!
....and she loves every minute of it!

Here is the wall when you walked into the house with a pic of Norah from every month of her 2nd year! Along with favors the kiddos...(Sparklers that said "Thanks for making my day sparkle" and Lollipops that said "Thanks for being so sweet to come to my party!"
I love to cook, but I haven't done much baking, so when I decided to make cupcakes from scratch for the party, I was a bit nervous. But they turned out well and were cute...

The rest was simple, pinwheels, chips and dip, veggies, and lemonade.

Pool Time! It was almost 100 degrees, so the pool and the sprinklers were the perfect activity for the kids! We were very thankful for the trees around our yard as well, because our yard was mainly in the shade.
Norah's little friend Alaina (she's just 3.5 months older than Nor)
Nor with Jadyn

Aunt Barbie got talked into getting in with the girls.
Norah spraying Grandpa Randy with the sprinklers, she makes me so proud.

CUPCAKE TIME.
happy birthday to you.
happy birthday to you...
happy birthday norah (when she heard her name and realized we were all singing to her, she got so excited....it was priceless)

who knew blowing out candles could be this cute..

All the kiddos, Asher, McCale , Jadyn, Alaina and Norah (baby Jericha was there too, but she's only 4 months so she's not quite ready for cupcakes yet!)

the aftermath...

(thanks to Morgan for most of these pics and a few from my parents...apparently my camera went m.i.a. amongst the craziness!)
