Sweet Evy Girl...you are almost one! 11 months old! Holy Moly where did this year go!
You my sweet little baby...
...weigh just under 20 pounds. are comfortably wearing 12 months clothing, but occasionally wear 6-9 months or 18 months. Are still cloth diapered and that is going really well!
....are crawling around like a maniac, pulling up on everything, and can walk around anything super fast. You are still reluctant to take a step, so when you get to the end of where you can hold on, you get a really brave look on your face, and then plop down on your heiny. So cute.
...finally have two teeth, the top two, with an adorable gap between them, who knew gapped teeth could be so stinkin' cute!
...are sleeping great still, but are quite the early riser. Bedtime is usually around 7 or 730, and you are up and ready for the day by 5:30 or 6:00, occasionally we get an extra half hour until 6:30. Still taking two naps a day, both an hour or hour and a half. :) After all that fussing about tummy time, ironically, you are always sleeping on your tummy now!
...are starting to actually play with Norah instead of just watch her now. Your favorite games are: When she runs back and forth on her bed while you hold on squealing. And when Norah and Daddy play pirates and you are the shark, they run up to you, you scream and then the run away yelling shark!!! Never seen a shark laugh, but you sure think they do!
...love to "baby pounce". you think it's the greatest think in the world to find something soft, (especially sister Norah's reading corner with beanbags and pillows) then stand up, and then hold your hands way up in the air, and then fall face forward onto it, and then laugh, and repeat. so funny, the best is when we catch you doing this when no one is in the room or paying attention to you :)
...have started to wave bye bye occasionally, with this cute little opening and closing of your hand.
...definitely know the word "no". whenever we have to say it, you get a little grin and shake your head back and forth.
...can blow kisses, but we only see them occasionally, it's so cute when you smack your wide open mouth with your tiny little hand.
...love to share (and then take right back). nothing makes you happier than offering some of your food to Norah and then having her take a bite, and then stealing it back.
...are the apple of Norah's eye. She loves to play with you, and mother you. When we are in the car, Norah always says it's her job to keep you awake. She'll say "Bayba, it's not time to sleep honey." It's so sweet.
...are such a little joy, so happy, so funny and giggly. we love you soooooo much. we truly couldn't imagine our family without you.
