6 weeks.

I saw the midwife! It was great to see our midwife JG again. She is great, and I feel very comforted and special by her. So, we did all the usual and she said things looked good. She told me that because of what happened last time we were going to do more tests this time and be extra cautious. I didn't get an ultrasound like I was hoping for, she said it was just too early, but we get to have one in 1 week!! She said the cramping I have been feeling is normal and fine, which is a relief.

So JG sent me off to the lab for bloodwork. They were running a Quantitative HCG test and testing my progesterone. I did this at 3 on Thursday and had to do it at precisely the same time again on Saturday. The HCG levels are supposed to double in 2 days. It's amazing how much is going on in my body right now that I don't even know about! Life is miraculous and amazing.

So, the good news is that Friday I got the results back of the first test and the numbers were high (which is good). Now I have to wait until tomorrow to see if they doubled. JG is so great, she told me I could call her on Friday if I wanted to get the results of the test on Thursday, but before I even had the chance to call, she called me to let me know they looked good.

So.....now we wait. We wait patiently for the Lord to do a good work. We wait in power, love and self control. We wait with no fear. With wait with great faith. We wait in prayer. But we still wait.

Give me child-like faith God. Give me peace that only you can deliver.
