We had our ultrasound appointment today......and we are having a girl! The last month has been the longest month of my life. Waiting for the results of the 21 week Ultrasound was excruciating! But knowing it's a girl was worth the wait! I am so excited, I already feel like I know her better just knowing that she's a girl, instead of it being unknown.
The ultrasound was so amazing. We got to see her lips, her face, her spinal cord, her feet, her legs, her hands, everything. She was moving around like a maniac, doing quite the little dance for us. She even gave us quite the view between her legs to make JG the midwife nearly 100% that she's a girl. She was cute, and kicked and squirmed the whole time. Thanks for giving us quite the show today daughter!
Wow. I'm going to have a daughter. Yippee!!
It's so fun to start to think what she's going to look like, act like, be like, etc. I can't wait to meet her! It's been so fun thinking of names. And planning the room is like a dream come true. I'll probably never make up my mind and end up with a blank room with no bed, aaaaahhh.
Well, off to dream of more girl stuff. Ryan was already looking up pictures of pink nuggets jerseys. :)
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this miracle of life in me. Thank You for our daughter. Thank You for her healthy heart, and lungs, and spine. Thank You for her legs and arms, and hands and feet. Thank You for the amazing technology that we got to see her with today. Thank You for our doctors. Thank You Lord for our families and for their excitement and love.
Lord, please be with her, protect her, and love her. Thank You for trusting us with her, and continue to mold us into the people that you want to raise her. We love you. Amen.
