Evelynn at 2 months.

Little Miss Evelynn~at 2 months you....

...have had your first real smiles, they are adorable!  You usually do a little nosewrinkle before showing off your dimples and giving us that special grin.

...are growing like a weed, you weighed 11lbs 6 oz at your 2 month checkup, meaning you've grown an almost 5 pounds, approaching doubling your weight!

...are happiest while upright, love being held with your head tilted back, on your changing table so you can check us all out, or in your bjorn front pack. 

...met your very first cousin, sweet little Ayla.

...have definitely already developed two nicknames, Evy and Ev.  

...are sleeping fairly well (at least in terms of gruwell girls). You have been going to bed around 9 or 10 and waking up around 6:30 and usually wake up twice/night to eat, and on most nights head right back to bed! 

...are absolutely loved by your big sister, any time you make a peep, Norah is the first to say "lets go check on Evelynn" and she has a stool in your room that she brings all over the nursery so she can see you better. She is constantly saying, "Evy is so cute." or "Evy is so tiny."

...have started to become so much more aware of your surroundings, love to look at your daddy and your big sister, (and your mama) and you've started swinging those arms around so you can occasionally make a toy swing or squeak.

...are still dealing with acid reflux (we think) and we are trying desperately to get it under control.  You are now on a bumped up dosage of prevacid, and mommy is thinking about bringing you to a chiropractor..since I've had a couple of sweet mommies tell me that it helped their kiddos. 

These 2 months have flown by, we have sooo enjoyed having you and can't wait to get to know you more and watch you grow!
