Evelynn at 7 months.

Evy Girl, at 7 months you....

...are our little sweet pea. you are so smiley and sweet.  you would snuggle up for days on mama's shoulder and i absolutely am enjoying every moment of that, even when my arm and back are killing me, i'm hungry, and chasing norah. i love that you are a little lover.

...are eating lots of things now!  your favorite so far is definitely bananas,  but you are finally learning to love sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, apples, apricots, and avocados. Tonight we are trying green beans. You have also become a big fan of the little organic things we call puffies. I am too because mastering them can occupy you for a while! 

...sit up by yourself easily now and are much less likely to tip. you topple over forward some now, but only because you are trying to reach for something and figure out how to move. you still have absolutely zero interest in being on your tummy. i have a feeling that you think crawling is for babies other than you, you want to to stand up and run like your big sis norah. 

...sleep great. you go to bed around 7 and wake up around 6. you've even had a couple of successful sleepovers with grammy and papa.  are still taking 3 naps/day, but rarely a long one, 1.25 hrs is your absolute max :) 

...are really starting to talk, or should i say scream. you are learning to use those vocal cords for sure and love hearing yourself yell and scream. we love......you.

...are still nursing basically every 3-4 hours (other than at night, none at night, woo hoo!)  i'm getting a bit nervous about my milk supply because you seem to wish there were more....hoping and praying for more milk so I can keep feeding you a bit longer!  I'd love to make it a year, but have a feeling we're going to fall short of that!  

...got your first haircut.  I of course didn't get a picture, and I'm not into saving old hair....so the only proof is in mommy's memory. however, your rhino horn was finally poking you in the eyes and i had to give it the tiniest little trim...but you are nearly due for another, definitely have daddy's hair!

...are so loved. your sister is your biggest fan, she is so ready for you to start running around and playing with her so she can boss you around. And your daddy is also in love with you, and let me tell you the feelings are mutual, you light up when you see him!

...are perfect. we couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit to make us a little family of four. we love you evy girl. can't believe you are already 7 months!!!!
