to sleep or not to sleep...

TO SLEEP or not to sleep...

The night before last Norah slept the whole night!!! Yippee!!! She went to bed at 7:30pm and cried for about 10 minutes. Then fell asleep....until 6:30am!

I of course was up many times through out the night, checking the clock, listening to the monitor, and just being in general awe. I kept thinking, am I so tired that I slept through her crying....is the monitor working....is she okay? I even went in and checked on her once...she was sleeping on her tummy soundly.

Last night, she went to bed at 7:30 as well and cried on and off for about 25 minutes. But only woke up once at 3:00am, and after me coming in for a quick check and binky replacement, she went back to sleep after 30 seconds of crying....and slept until 7am!! So not only are we getting some sleep, but she is sleeping in past 5:30 for the first time in a LOOOOONNNGGG time. Hallelujah!

The weather has been nice lately. Finally! So we spent the afternoon playing out in the backyard. So fun to be out in the fresh air and sunshine, and a great reason to put Norah in her adorable sunhat. Enjoy.

Thank You God for a good night's sleep. Thank You for giving us the courage to allow her to cry a bit, and for not having it last hours. Thank You that you knew when to give us a peace about it, because she was ready and so was I. We thank you and love you. In Jesus name. Amen.
