a week off....dairy diaries update...and some new pics..

a week off.
So, it turns out the dizzy lightheaded feeling I had was a virus. Last Tuesday I woke up extremely sick, throwing up constantly, super dizzy and lightheaded, it was awful! I could hardly stand up without throwing up, let alone take care of Norah. So I called Ryan back from work, and he came home until my aunt could come over and help. I called my doctor and they got me in right away. They took my blood pressure which was 80/40! (normal blood pressure is 120/80) So, because of this and me being unable to keep anything down, they had me go to the hospital and get iv fluids for a few hours. Ugh, what a pain! Thank God I happened to have some extra bmilk in the fridge for Norah! I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to keep feeding her because of my dehydration and the virus, but my doctor and her pediatrician assured me it would be okay. I have felt better each day since, I think today is the first day I woke up without any sign of lightheadedness though! Neither Norah or Ryan seem to have caught any of it from me thankfully.

the dairy diaries.
So, I'm still eating dairy free! I've made it over 7 weeks so far. My last post about this we talked about taking Norah off the medicine for reflux as a trial. However, unfortunately she started getting pretty fussy again last week. (It's hard to know if this is the reflux, something I'm eating, the virus I had, a cold, effects from her shots, etc......) So we decided not to take her off yet, and the pediatrician "Dr. Ros" from now on, told us to increase the dosage. Because she is growing so fast, she might have grown out of her dosage. It does seem to be helping, because except for a few moments of pretty bad screaming the last couple of days, overall she seems to be improving again. So for now, we are going to continue eating Dairy Free and keep Norah on the Ranitidine (reflux med.).

other Norah updates.
She laughed early last week for the first time!! So stinkin' cute! Of course, it was laughing at Ryan. Who knows why, but he filled his mouth full of water so he had big cheeks, and then would shake his head really fast! She totally laughed at it! She hasn't laughed this much since, but there have been a few giggles here and there! I just realized that apparently I'm addicted to exclamation points when talking about Norah!!!!

Norah has basically grown out of all nb clothes, and doesn't even fit into 3 month pjs anymore, they curl her toes because she is so tall, which she obviously got from her mother......

Norah is still loving her bathtime. She has learned to splash her little feet and hands in the water. Not sure it's on purpose but she seems surprised and overjoyed by it all at the same time.

Norah has a super cute warm up suit broncos outfit (thanks to my mom) and she has worn it each Sunday. This is obviously the only reason the broncos are 3-0. We also make sure we put a big white bow on her head these days so people don't think she is a boy. However, yesterday, down at Fruita Fall Festival a lady commented, "oh, how cute, a boy right?" I said "no, a girl." She said, "oh, but he has boy pants on", we smiled and walked away.
she loves laying like this and pushing up on my tummy!
obviously.
oh...
she's been hanging out on the "boppy" a lot lately, it seems to fit her perfectly right now.
an early morning smile.
she's close to sitting up alone! give it a month, I bet she's there!
norah has found her hands and sucks on them or looks at them constantly now...
another big smile!
tummy time on the boppy.

a few bubbles...
Heavenly Father, we are so blessed. THANK YOU. Amen.
